unexpected time on my hands

well, i was supposed to have jury duty today. didn't happen. they took one look at my occupation, "full time law student, part time law clerk," and sent me packing. can't say that i'm terribly surprised but i was really hoping to stick around a least a little longer (but obviously not until 4:30 p.m.) to actually see what jury duty was all about. looks like i'll actually have to spend the day outlining. gag.
