i awoke this morning to the best surprise: a trip home orchestrated by martian. it is his grandparents' 60th wedding anniversary and that is a celebration i cannot miss. add to that father's day and i really think this will be the best weekend ever. i cannot wait for family overload, catching up with friends and delicious food. in honor of this fantastic occasion, i am listening to edward sharpe on repeat and counting down the minutes. see you tomorrow, chicago.
